One Police Project chronicles my attempt to share life’s lessons with my son and my two daughters – one quote, one anecdote, one article, one damn funny story at a time.  We often say that law enforcement officers are afforded a front row seat to the greatest show on earth, and these observations will not be lost on my children.  May they grow to field every ball thrown at them and conquer every dilemma the encounter – and may my daughters begin dating in their late 30’s, and my son grow to learn how to cut down a tree with a large caliber firearm.  My eldest’s first words were “damn straight.” I’m not ashamed.

Though I believe law enforcement is as noble a profession as they come, and I would never show police work in a bad light, I must note that all opinions are my own.  They are not intended to reflect the views of any large east coast police departments.
